Educational Diagnostician Special Education Teacher - Zachary, LA

Qualifications:

• Active Louisiana Department of Education Educational Diagnostician Certification required
• Experience conducting evaluations and working with diverse learning needs preferred
• Strong collaborative and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to different school sites and teams as needed
• Must complete district background check and fingerprinting prior to start

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate actively as a member of the preschool evaluation team
• Assess, diagnose, and determine eligibility for special education services for students K-12 (currently focused on preschool-aged students)
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support individualized student plans
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Provide consultative support to staff and families on assessment findings and educational recommendations
