What You'll Do
  • Manage a portfolio of automotive commodities across multiple suppliers with significant annual spend.
  • Analyze supplier performance, pricing, manufacturing processes, and market trends to develop sourcing strategies.
  • Lead supplier selection activities for new vehicle programs and support global sourcing initiatives.
  • Establish cost targets, negotiate pricing, and drive annual cost reduction projects.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders across purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
  • Maintain purchasing data, BOMs, quotations, and sourcing documentation using SAP and other procurement systems.
  • Leverage Excel and data analysis to support sourcing decisions, reporting, and supplier performance evaluations.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or a related area.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Excel and purchasing-related processes.
  • Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Interest in developing a long-term career in automotive procurement and supply chain.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raymond, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $31.25/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
