Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid and active Missouri Physical Therapy license (please provide license number with your application)
- Previous experience working as a Physical Therapist in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and best practices for therapeutic interventions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to providing direct, in-person therapy services (no remote options available for this role)
- Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for early childhood students
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based physical therapy sessions in a school environment
- Collaborate with staff and families to support students’ educational and developmental goals
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Adapt interventions to meet changing caseloads and student needs as assignments are finalized
