We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Recruiter to support high-volume hiring for a supply chain operation. This long-term contract opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage recruiting needs across food production, warehouse operations, driver staffing, and facilities-related positions. You will partner closely with hiring leaders, build strong community recruiting channels, and guide candidates through the full hiring process from intake to start date.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with supervisors and department leaders on a regular basis to assess staffing priorities and align recruiting activity with operational needs across the region.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including drafting position summaries, advertising openings, identifying talent, screening applicants, and arranging interviews.
• Lead hiring activity for a range of roles such as food production associates, warehouse employees, commercial drivers, forklift operators, and facilities support staff.
• Oversee candidate communication after interviews by preparing offers, issuing disposition notices when needed, and maintaining a consistent hiring experience.
• Monitor applicant and hiring data within tracking systems to keep records accurate, current, and organized throughout the recruitment process.
• Coordinate onboarding logistics by confirming pre-start details and helping new hires receive the information needed for their first day.
• Support high-volume recruiting efforts in an environment with frequent turnover while balancing multiple open requisitions at once.
• Expand talent pipelines through community-based outreach, including career fairs, workforce agencies, unemployment resources, schools, and online sourcing platforms.
• Use recruiting tools and platforms such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn, Indeed, Monster, and WorkSource to drive hiring results.• At least 2 years of recruiting experience, including ownership of full-cycle hiring activities.
• Proven ability to source and recruit for high-volume operational roles within environments such as warehouse, food production, distribution, or logistics.
• Experience coordinating interviews, managing candidate flow, and handling offer-related documentation with accuracy and professionalism.
• Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems and confidence using recruiting technologies and job boards to identify talent.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively with hiring managers, candidates, and community partners.
• Ability to stay organized while managing multiple openings, shifting priorities, and time-sensitive hiring needs.
• Familiarity with recruiting for positions involving commercial drivers, forklift operators, or other supply chain talent is preferred.
