Shifts: Mon - Fri (8:30 AM-5:00 PM)
On-Call: Required, including weekends, for medication-related issues and incidents occurring within the home.
Settings: Inpatient Residential Intermediate Care Facility (Adult Living Facility)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at an inpatient residential intermediate care facility in La Crosse, Virginia. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care and medication management to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in a supportive residential environment.
This position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RN as well as a new graduate interested in developing expertise in intellectual and developmental disability care.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide Nursing Care: Assess residents' health needs, provide appropriate nursing interventions, monitor health conditions, and coordinate care to promote residents' safety and well-being.
Medication Management: Oversee medication administration and management, address medication-related concerns, and respond appropriately to medication issues or incidents occurring within the residential home.
Support Residents with I/DD: Provide person-centered nursing care to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities while promoting dignity, independence, quality of life, and individualized care.
Documentation & Care Coordination: Maintain accurate clinical documentation, communicate changes in residents' conditions, and collaborate with caregivers, healthcare providers, families, and other members of the care team.

On-Call Support: Participate in the on-call rotation, including weekends, to respond to medication-related issues and incidents occurring within the home.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) qualification.
Experience or demonstrated interest in working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).
Compassionate, patient-centered approach to caring for adults in a residential setting.
New graduates are encouraged to apply.
License & Certifications Required:
Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Virginia.
