Qualifications:
- Valid Texas SLP license required
- Clinical Certification of Competence (CCC) strongly preferred
- Previous school-based SLP experience
- Ability to handle both monolingual and bilingual caseloads
- Strong skills in assessment, case management, and collaboration with educators
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Manage and update documentation, including IEPs and progress reports
- Oversee assigned caseload, balancing evaluation, case management, and occasional therapy
- Work closely with educators, administrators, and families to support student success
- Serve both monolingual and bilingual students, adapting approaches as needed
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
