Required Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in Illinois
• Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Nurse endorsement
• Certified School Nurse certification (CSN)
• Previous experience in school settings or similar pediatric environments
• Strong communication skills for working alongside multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Participate onsite in an Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) alongside an Audiologist
• Apply nursing expertise to evaluate students’ health status as part of a comprehensive assessment process
• Complete necessary documentation and communicate findings with educational staff and team members
• Maintain a student-focused and compassionate approach throughout the evaluation
