Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) supporting local schools near Port Saint Lucie, FL. You'll serve one campus per assignment, providing vital care and expertise for students across K-8 or high school settings during maternity leave coverage at these vibrant educational communities.

Openings are available for immediate or upcoming coverage at Manatee Academy K-8, Palm Pointe K-8, and Ft. Pierce Central High School. Each assignment allows you to focus your attention and skills on a single site and caseload, collaborating with supportive SLP teams or on-site SLPAs. Assignments range from immediate starts for K-8 populations through fall opportunities focusing on ASD units or high school students, matching your specialization and schedule.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current and active Florida SLP licensure (CCC required)
• Prior school-based SLP experience highly preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Willingness to complete time-sensitive fingerprinting/credentialing (prior AHCA prints may expedite this process)
• Flexibility to cover one assigned school per assignment

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop and implement student therapy plans
• Deliver direct therapy services, both individual and group sessions
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district and state guidelines
• Support students’ growth in both academic and functional communication

Assignments are based on 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, aligning with school hours. This role is entirely on-site and offers the chance to build strong rapport with faculty and students while making a meaningful difference.
