What You’ll Bring:

• An active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an LBS1 endorsement
• Background working as a Special Education Teacher, ideally in elementary settings
• Strong understanding of ELA instruction adapted to meet diverse learning needs
• Collaborative approach with fellow educators, families, and support staff
• Dedication to creating a positive, inclusive classroom experience

Your Role Includes:

• Planning and delivering differentiated ELA instruction for 2nd-grade students with varying abilities
• Developing and implementing IEPs in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
• Monitoring student progress, documenting outcomes, and adjusting instruction as necessary
• Maintaining proactive communication with families and colleagues to support student growth
• Participating in ongoing professional development and utilizing available resources from the Clinical Advisory Team
