Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Production Assembler, where you will play a crucial role in the final assembly of machined sockets for power tools. This position involves basic hand assembly tasks such as attaching clips or springs, and requires repetitive finger, hand, and wrist motions. You will also operate a button push machine to press and glue parts together, ensuring high volume production with low mix of parts and procedures. A basic visual inspection of all completed parts is also part of the job.

Responsibilities

  • Perform final assembly of machined sockets for power tools.
  • Conduct basic hand assembly tasks, including attaching clips or springs.
  • Execute repetitive finger, hand, and wrist motions.
  • Operate a button push machine to press and glue parts together.
  • Ensure high volume production with low mix of parts and procedures.
  • Perform basic visual inspection of all completed parts.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in machine operation and assembly.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in high volume repetitive button push machine operating or assembly line work.
  • Ability to conduct quality inspection and visual inspection.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Background in visual or basic quality inspection is helpful.

Work Environment

Work in a clean, climate-controlled, and well-lit environment featuring a wide variety of old and new machining centers. Shift hours are from 3:30pm to 12:00am, Monday through Friday, with frequent 10-hour workdays and two mandatory Saturdays per month offering overtime pay. Take advantage of volunteer hours with double time pay opportunities on selected days.

This is a Contract position based out of Dayton, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.83 - $25.83/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
