Job Description
Embark on an impactful contract assignment as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, working with a dedicated team to support and guide the progress of an elementary-aged student. This onsite position runs from now through June 2027, offering regular weekday hours from 7:30 am to 2:45 pm. You'll be based at a specialized educational facility, collaborating closely with other professionals in a team-driven environment to manage the student's behavioral and mental health needs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Demonstrated experience working with children, particularly ages 8–9, in an educational or clinical setting
- Strong background in behavior intervention planning and implementation
- Collaborative mindset; able to thrive as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Commitment to ethical standards and evidence-based practices
- Ability to remain adaptable and solution-focused in dynamic situations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
- Offer hands-on behavioral support and guidance for the student’s daily needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers, mental health staff, and family to monitor progress and adjust interventions
- Collect, analyze, and present behavioral data to inform ongoing strategies
- Deliver training and resources to caregivers and staff as appropriate
- Maintain thorough records in accordance with professional and district standards
- Participate actively in team meetings and professional development opportunities
