Electrician Foreman
Job Description
The Electrician Foreman plans, supervises, and performs all phases of installation, maintenance, repair, and inspection of electrical systems and service work on new construction and remodeling projects. This role leads projects from start to finish, oversees a crew, and ensures all electrical work meets quality, safety, and code requirements.
Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and execute all phases of electrical installation, maintenance, repair, and inspection on new and remodeled projects.
- Run electrical projects independently, ensuring work is completed on time, within scope, and in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
- Supervise and instruct a crew of electricians and helpers, providing direction, guidance, and support throughout each project.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical layouts to determine project requirements and installation details.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting to diagnose issues and implement effective repairs or corrective actions.
- Oversee electrical installations, including wiring, fixtures, panels, and related components, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
- Apply knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) to ensure all work complies with regulatory and safety requirements.
- Inspect completed work to verify quality, accuracy, and compliance with project specifications and electrical codes.
- Coordinate with other trades and site personnel to maintain smooth workflow and resolve field issues as they arise.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following established safety procedures and promoting safe practices among the crew.
- At least 2+ years of experience as a foreman electrician, leading electrical projects and supervising crews.
- Proven ability to run projects independently and manage day-to-day jobsite activities.
- Strong supervisory skills with experience instructing and directing a crew.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and layouts.
- Hands-on experience with electrical troubleshooting and electrical installations.
- Current Journeyman electrician license.
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and its application in the field.
- Familiarity with local electrical code is a plus.
- Experience working with Romex wiring is a plus.

The role involves working on active job sites with typical construction conditions, including exposure to varying weather, noise, and physical activity associated with electrical installation and construction work.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Kansas City, MO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
