Job Description
Make a significant impact in the life of a young student by bringing your Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) expertise to a supportive education environment. This contract opportunity, lasting through June 2027, focuses on individualized intervention for one student, aged 8 or 9, within a collaborative and dedicated team. You’ll work onsite at a state-of-the-art educational center, joining other professionals focused on student success.
Desired Qualifications:
- Must hold active BCBA certification
- Experience developing and implementing behavior intervention plans in a school setting, ideally with elementary-aged students
- Familiarity with mental health and behavior management strategies
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to partner with teachers, specialists, and families
- Strong organizational skills to manage documentation and progress reports
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to positive behavior outcomes
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and develop data-driven support plans for the student
- Provide direct intervention and consultation to educators and team members
- Monitor and document student progress, regularly reviewing strategies and updating plans as needed
- Lead training and guidance for school staff on positive behavior supports and techniques
- Collaborate in regular team meetings, ensuring a holistic and consistent approach to care
- Maintain clear, confidential records and effective communication with all stakeholders
