The Project Engineer will provide critical support to the Senior Project Manager on large-scale, complex construction projects. This role will collaborate with estimating, engineering, procurement, fabrication, and field teams to support project planning, cost control, scheduling, and successful project delivery.

The Project Engineer will provide critical support to the Senior Project Manager on large-scale, complex construction projects. This role will collaborate with estimating, engineering, procurement, fabrication, and field teams to support project planning, cost control, scheduling, and successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Project Manager with project planning, scope development, budgeting, and execution strategies.
- Collaborate with Estimating to develop project estimates, budgets, cost analyses, and ongoing cost forecasts.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor milestones, and identify potential schedule risks.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project requirements and timelines are met.
- Assist with quality assurance, safety compliance, risk mitigation, change orders, and resolution of project issues.
- Prepare project status reports, cost tracking documents, performance metrics, meeting minutes, and other project documentation.
- Support contract administration by monitoring contract requirements, identifying potential issues, and escalating changes or disputes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in construction, estimating, project coordination, or project management.
- Strong understanding of construction industry practices, regulations, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Proficiency with project management and scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret estimates, budgets, cost reports, and project data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed
