Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to support full-cycle AR operations, including B2B collections, cash application, account reconciliations, and dispute resolution. This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of customer accounts, reducing past-due balances, improving cash flow, and ensuring accurate account maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage customer accounts and monitor aging, payment activity, disputes, and collection efforts.
  • Conduct B2B collections and follow up on past-due balances.
  • Apply cash, credits, and adjustments accurately; resolve unapplied cash issues.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, deductions, and payment disputes.
  • Perform account reconciliations and support month-end close activities.
  • Monitor intercompany receivables and assist with resolving outstanding balances.
  • Prepare aging reports and provide updates on collection performance and account risks.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of customer communications and collection activities.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections, or related accounting functions.
  • Strong background in full-cycle AR, B2B collections, and reconciliations.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and SUMIFS.
  • Experience with JD Edwards, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Contract Length: 3-6 months
  • Schedule: Fully onsite, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
  • Experience Level: Intermediate
  • Education: Relevant experience preferred over degree

This is a Contract position based out of Moreno Valley, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
