Facilities Assistant

We're hiring a Facilities Assistant to help keep a busy manufacturing facility clean, safe, and running smoothly.

You'll work independently for most of the day, following a set route and work orders while helping maintain offices, break rooms, restrooms, hallways, and specialized cleanroom areas.

• Follow a daily cleaning route using a work order system
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and hallways
• Mop floors, dispose of trash, and maintain common areas
• Respond to emergency cleanups as needed
• Restock and replace soap dispensers, paper products, and fixtures
• Assist with minor maintenance tasks and basic repairs
• Perform patching, painting, and simple building upkeep
• Use hand tools and small power tools when needed
• Track completed work orders and supply usage
• Order supplies and complete basic computer-based tasks
• Meet and escort vendors through the facility when necessary
• Occasionally assist with cleanroom cleaning after training

• Janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience
• Experience cleaning offices, restrooms, break rooms, or manufacturing facilities
• Comfortable performing physically active work throughout the day
• Ability to lift trash bags, supplies, and boxes as needed
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to follow a schedule and work independently
• Strong communication skills in English

You'll work throughout a manufacturing facility that includes:

• Offices
• Hallways
• Break rooms
• Restrooms
• Specialized cleanrooms

Most days you'll follow a set route and complete assigned work orders, allowing you to stay organized and productive throughout your shift.

Occasionally, you'll assist in cleanroom areas and wear a protective "bunny suit" after receiving proper training.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sunnyvale, CA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
