Job Description Overview: • As part of a dedicated team, the Device Technician supports the installation of plasma collection devices across CSL Plasma centers. This role serves as an onsite technical resource during device installations and post implementation support. • The Device Technician is responsible for preparing equipment, supporting installation activities, troubleshooting technical issues, validating device readiness, and assisting center personnel throughout the installation process. The role works closely with project teams, vendors, and center staff to help ensure successful minimal disruption to center operations. • This position requires extensive travel and hands-on technical support in a regulated healthcare environment. This role is not responsible for ongoing preventive maintenance programs or long-term device management activities. Responsibilities: • Supports installation activities for plasma collection devices at assigned plasma centers, including equipment preparation, setup, installation verification, and operational readiness activities. • Coordinates with vendors, project team members, and center staff to ensure devices are installed, configured, and operational in accordance with approved procedures. • Performs installation verification, operational qualification activities, functional testing, and device readiness checks to support successful center readiness. • Troubleshoots equipment issues encountered during installation activities and escalates technical concerns to appropriate support resources as required. • Provides onsite technical support during implementation, stabilization, and immediate installation activities to support center operations and business continuity. • Documents activities, installation results, troubleshooting efforts, and equipment status in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements. • Maintains accurate records related to assigned projects and communicates status, risks, issues, and opportunities to project leadership. • Assists with equipment logistics activities, including device preparation, inventory verification, packing, shipping, storage, and vendor return processes. • Provides basic operational guidance and technical instruction to center personnel regarding deployed equipment and approved operating procedures. • Maintains compliance with company policies, safety standards, quality requirements, regulatory expectations, and applicable standard operating procedures. • Supports special projects and performs other duties as assigned to achieve business needs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a technical support, equipment installation, field service, healthcare, medical device, manufacturing, or related environment. Experience troubleshooting technical equipment and resolving operational issues. Strong mechanical and technical aptitude. Ability to accurately document technical activities and maintain detailed records. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, and other standard business software. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively. Preferred Qualifications Technical training in biomedical equipment, electronics, mechanical systems, healthcare technology, or a related field. Experience supporting equipment installations, implementation projects, startup activities, or commissioning efforts. Experience performing equipment qualification, operational verification, or functional testing. Experience working in regulated environments such as healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or manufacturing settings. Familiarity with SOPs, quality systems, and compliance-driven operations.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
