Ideal Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Florida SLP licensure (CCC required)
• School-based SLP experience preferred, especially with K-8 or high school populations
• Familiarity with a variety of caseloads, including ASD units for certain assignments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff, and families
• Ability to manage and organize therapy schedules and documentation effectively
• Ability to complete district fingerprinting, with potential fast-tracking for candidates already in the AHCA Clearinghouse

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, intervention, and consultation for students according to their IEPs
• Deliver speech-language therapy tailored to age, need, and setting (K-8 or high school)
• Collaborate closely with existing school SLPs, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings as required
• Offer guidance and support to students with ASD and diverse communication needs (as applicable)
• Ensure compliance with all district, state, and federal policies
