Key Qualifications:

• Demonstrated extensive experience as a paraprofessional, particularly in SPED classroom settings
• Ability to quickly adapt and provide individualized support to students
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with educators, students, and families
• Current, complete onboarding status in Bullhorn
• Immediate availability to start within three business days of contract signing
• Commitment to upholding confidentiality and respect for all students

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work in a 1:1 capacity with a student, implementing educational and behavioral plans as directed by classroom teachers and specialists
• Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that promotes student participation, learning, and self-advocacy
• Assist with classroom activities, transitions, and daily tasks tailored to the student’s needs
• Communicate regularly with instructors and support staff to monitor progress and address challenges
• Maintain thorough, accurate documentation of student progress and interventions
