Job Description
Empower young learners with your expertise as a dedicated School Psychologist supporting two vibrant elementary schools serving K-5 students. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s or doctoral degree in school psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-5 students, preferably in a school setting
- Exceptional skills in assessment, consultation, and intervention planning
- Strong ability to collaborate with teachers, counselors, parents, and administrators
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations with compassion and professionalism
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret results for students between two elementary schools
- Collaborate with Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) teams to design and monitor individualized interventions
- Provide short-term counseling, crisis intervention, and support services to students as needed
- Participate in IEP and 504 meetings, contributing valuable insights in developing student plans
- Work closely with families and staff to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional challenges
- Stay current with best practices and maintain accurate documentation per regulations
