Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Maintenance Technician – 1st Shift
Location: Whitsett, NC (Onsite)
Duration: Long-term Contract (2026 – 2028)
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay Rate: $19.00/hr. on W2

Summary:

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to support daily operations in a fast-paced warehouse/manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and mechanical/electrical repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial/warehouse equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Complete work orders and maintain maintenance tools and supplies.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other material-handling equipment.
• Support equipment uptime and minimize operational downtime.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams.

Requirements:

• Previous maintenance experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of industrial equipment and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot and work independently.
• Forklift or similar equipment experience.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred: PLCs, industrial electrical systems, hydraulics/pneumatics, conveyor systems, Zebra/Lexmark printers, or Industrial Electrician certification.
