Contribute your expertise as a School Psychologist supporting elementary-aged students across two welcoming schools. This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the educational and emotional development of children in grades K-5. You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create positive, supportive learning environments for young learners.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Current and valid School Psychologist certification/license
  • Experience providing psychological and psycho-educational assessments for K-5 students
  • Strong understanding of special education laws and best practices
  • Ability to develop and implement effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and balance caseloads across two schools

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments, interpret evaluation results, and provide recommendations
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide expertise on student needs
  • Support classroom teachers with interventions and strategies for student success
  • Deliver individual and group counseling services as needed
  • Collaborate with families to create intervention plans that foster growth and resilience
  • Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality in compliance with regulations
  • Advocate for the mental well-being and academic achievement of all students
