Description

• Provide technical support for the Manufacturing floor. Including electrical controls, mechanical systems and process improvement.

• Provide technical support for various types of control components such as but not limited to: photo electric sensors, proximity sensors, scanning devices, relays, pressure/vacuum switches, transducers, valves and solenoids, pneumatic/ hydraulic/electric cylinders, mechanical/electrical clutches and brakes, and various control circuit components.

• Ability to understand the interrelationships between equipment in production lines and systems and be able to provide sound recommendations to various departments within the company.

• Possess a working knowledge of high voltage panels, including safety protocols, troubleshooting, and procedures.

• Interface with PLC, HMI and VFD of various manufacturers.

• Ability to learn new software packages and comfortable in doing so. (AB, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, Panasonic, BR, Schneider, Etc.)

• Understanding of Relay Logic Control Systems

• Understanding of Ladder logic, Statement List, and Function Block/AIO PLC Programming

• Experience in identifying root issues in programs during commissioning of new control systems/manufacturing suites.

• Experience in editing and making new HMI Screens, PLC Programs, and VFD Configurations.

• Possess knowledge of the differences between PNP and NPN sensors, including their wiring configurations, applications, and troubleshooting methods.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• This is for a 1st and 2nd shift, Monday – Friday with some OT support on weekends as needed

• 3 – 4 weeks of training on 1st shift and then 2nd shift would revert to their hours of 3pm – 11:30pm

• 6 month as a temp and potential to go permanent in 20207

• Experience specifically with Allen Bradley PLCs (programmable logic controller) which is what keeps the machine running, like the brain of the machine…is highly desirable

• Certified in Allen Bradley is a nice to have- Allen Bradley is the #1 PLC company in the world

• 3 years of experience is preferred

• If they have a relevant Associate or Bachelors that can be used in lieu of a degree but must be able to talk about relevant projects they did in school

This is a Contract position based out of Summerville, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
