We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Overnight Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care while supporting operational and clinical initiatives throughout the organization.

Job Summary:
  • Review, verify, and clarify medication orders to ensure safe and effective therapy.

  • Oversee the compounding, preparation, and dispensing of sterile and non-sterile medications.

  • Provide pharmaceutical care for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, and adult patient populations.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy.

  • Participate in medical emergencies and provide clinical support as needed.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards, including TJC, OSHA, Medicare/Medicaid requirements, and Texas State Board of Pharmacy regulations.

  • Utilize pharmacy technology systems and drug information resources to support patient care and operational excellence.

  • Verify the accuracy of medication products and labeling prior to dispensing.

  • Supervise and support pharmacy technicians while promoting a culture of safety and quality.

Requirements:
  • Education: Pharm.D. degree or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy required.

  • Experience: Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency strongly preferred. Equivalent hospital pharmacy experience (minimum 3 years) will be considered.

  • Licensure: Current Texas Pharmacist license and Pharmacy Preceptor license, or eligibility for licensure in the State of Texas, required.
