This contract opportunity spans the entire 2026–2027 academic year and offers the chance to work collaboratively with a supportive educational team.
Your work will focus on fostering communication and academic growth for a diverse caseload of students. The position is primarily full time at 37.5 hours per week, but there is flexibility to consider skilled part-time candidates. This role requires an onsite presence—virtual options are not available.
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Valid Michigan licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience in K-12 settings strongly preferred
- Comfortable managing a range of communication disorders and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Special Education Teachers with relevant credentials and school-based experience encouraged to apply
- Applicants must commit to the entire school year (August 31, 2026 – June 4, 2027)
- SLP-CFs are not being considered for this assignment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop IEPs, and deliver targeted therapy or specialized instruction
- Collaborate with classroom staff and families to support student success and goal progression
- Maintain clear documentation in compliance with state and federal requirements
- Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development
