Quality Technician - 1st Shift
Job Description
- Serve as a quality technician or receiving inspector responsible for inspecting and measuring inbound/outbound materials.
- Conduct in-process and final inspections of machined components and final assemblies to verify compliance with quality standards.
- Perform dimensional inspections, document results, support material traceability, and help maintain calibrated inspection equipment within an assembly production facility.
- Perform equipment calibrations on inspection tools including calipers, torque wrenches, pressure gauges, and related devices.
- Measure materials using calipers, micrometers, bore gages, feeler gages, and pin gages.
- Work with blueprints as necessary to verify part dimensions.
- Complete quality documentation including material traceability reports and certificates of conformity.
- Must have experience with some or all of these quality gages is preferred - calipers, micrometers, mic threads, bore gages, feeler gages, and/or pin gages to measure parts.
- Need to have the ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Basic computer skills using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Experience working in an assembly production facility or similar manufacturing environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Burlington, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $47840.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
