School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Duncanville, Texas

Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic educational environment! This contract position involves working onsite with a dedicated team, with multiple openings available for both monolingual and bilingual SLPs. You'll primarily focus on evaluations and case management, providing occasional therapy as needed within elementary and some middle school settings.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current Texas SLP license required
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Experience in school settings preferred
• Ability to handle both monolingual and bilingual caseloads
• Strong skills in conducting evaluations and managing cases
• Commitment to cultural competence and equitable student support
• Familiarity with IEP process and collaboration with educational teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
• Manage caseload focused on evaluations, eligibility, and compliance documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement student plans
• Deliver targeted therapy sessions when required by caseload needs
• Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
• Serve a diverse population, including both monolingual and bilingual students
• Support elementary and middle school students, helping them achieve communication milestones
