Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Mechanical Assemblers to join a dynamic team for a 2-4 month project at a Site in Hilliard. This role involves the assembly of industrial-sized hood kits, which will be moved using forklifts once properly assembled. Candidates will be responsible for the complete process, including loading, unloading of parts, assembly, quality inspection, and site clean-up.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble industrial-sized hood kits.
  • Move assembled kits using forklifts.
  • Load and unload parts efficiently.
  • Perform quality inspections to ensure all assemblies meet standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work site.

Essential Skills

  • 5+ years of experience with power tools.
  • 5+ years of experience with hand tools.
  • Experience with pneumatic tools.
  • Forklift operation skills.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards.
  • Experience using grinders and saws.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Background in mechanics, maintenance, high-level assembly, or construction.
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment

The work will be conducted outside under a production tent, equipped with fans and heaters to ensure a comfortable environment. The team will be divided into two groups of three, working collaboratively to build kits under the supervision of 4-5 managers.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Hilliard, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
