This role requires a skilled maintenance technician with expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. The position involves performing electrical repairs on 480V and 220V systems, working with 3 Phase Motors, and interpreting electrical schematics for equipment controls. The technician will work on extruder and feeder machines.

Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance and repair tasks on industrial equipment.
  • Execute electrical repairs on 480V and 220V systems, including 3 Phase Motors.
  • Read and understand electrical schematics for equipment controls.
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues with extruder and feeder machines.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in industrial maintenance, electrical, and mechanical repairs.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics.
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting and maintenance repair.
  • Knowledge of 3 phase electrical systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Preferred industrial maintenance degree.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Basic knowledge of extruders or similar equipment.

Work Environment

The plant is a dynamic environment that manufactures plastic pellets for injection molding. It is not temperature controlled, so it can get hot or cold. Employees enjoy a supportive atmosphere with minimal turnover, evidenced by the newest maintenance department member having been with the company for over six years. This position is available due to an internal transfer. The shift operates from 3 PM to 3:30 AM on a rotating schedule of 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, and 3 days off.

This is a Permanent position based out of Nashville, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $70720.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
