Job Description:

• Oversee day-to-day plant operations, including production, packaging, warehouse, and facility activities.
• Lead and manage production supervisors and plant employees to ensure efficient operations.
• Ensure production schedules and customer orders are met on time.
• Monitor production performance, productivity, labor, and operating costs.
• Ensure adequate staffing, equipment, materials, and training are available to meet production goals.
• Maintain high standards for food safety, quality, sanitation, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and enforce safety procedures and ensure employees follow all plant safety requirements.
• Work closely with Quality Assurance to maintain product quality and food-safety objectives.
• Identify production issues and implement corrective actions and process improvements.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and coordinate with maintenance personnel to minimize downtime and production interruptions.
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, and supply-chain teams.
• Track key production metrics and provide regular performance reports to senior management.
• Train, coach, and develop employees while maintaining accountability and performance standards.
• Promote a positive workplace culture focused on teamwork, productivity, safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Help implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and other process-improvement initiatives where appropriate.
• Ensure the plant operates efficiently while maintaining the company's standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by Upper Management.

Requirements:

• 5 - 10 plus years of current experience
• Must have clean background check
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• May need to meet other requirements not listed on here
