Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan teaching certification with a Special Education endorsement (please include certification upon application)
• Previous experience working in Special Education across any of the following levels: elementary, middle, or high school
• Strong commitment to individualized instruction and the success of every learner
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and fellow educators
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to unique student strengths and challenges
• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that encourages growth academically, socially, and emotionally
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including families and staff, to ensure comprehensive support for each student
• Track progress, maintain accurate records, and provide ongoing feedback and adjustment to instructional strategies
• Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive and productive classroom atmosphere
