Job Summary/Company: We are looking for a Field Installation Foreman to drive site operations, lead skilled crews, and oversee complex access control and low-voltage installations nationwide. In this high-impact role, you will be the go-to leader on active construction sites—translating project plans into quality results, keeping crews safe and productive, and serving as the primary point of contact for General Contractors. If you thrive on solving field challenges, delivering top-tier craftsmanship, and leading from the front, this is your opportunity to build a strong career while traveling the country. Please apply today!

Crew Leadership & Field Operations

  • Plan and assign daily work activities based on project priorities and schedule requirements.

  • Maintain crew productivity and ensure manpower is being utilized effectively.

  • Provide direction, training, and technical support to Lead Technicians and Installation Technicians.

  • Establish clear expectations for workmanship, productivity, safety, and jobsite conduct.

  • Hold crew members accountable for assigned responsibilities and quality of work.

Installation & Technical Oversight

  • Lead and oversee installation of low-voltage cabling, access control equipment, vehicle barriers, gates, controls equipment, and associated safety devices.

  • Oversee cable pulls, cable routing, terminations, equipment installation, induction loops, peripheral devices, and field wiring.

  • Read and interpret construction drawings, electrical schematics, control prints, equipment layouts, and project specifications.

  • Assist with troubleshooting electrical, controls, networking, and mechanical installation issues.

  • Verify equipment is installed, anchored, aligned, leveled, labeled, and secured in accordance with project requirements.

  • Provide technical guidance to technicians when installation issues or field conditions arise.

Quality Control

  • Perform ongoing QC inspections of crew installations.

  • Verify completed work before turnover to the next phase of construction.

  • Identify and correct installation deficiencies before they become punch-list items.

  • Ensure proper anchoring, leveling, alignment, cable management, terminations, labeling, and equipment installation.

  • Maintain installation standards and workmanship expectations.

  • Communicate recurring quality issues to the Superintendent and Project Manager.

Safety

  • Conduct and participate in daily toolbox talks and safety meetings.

  • Enforce company and project-specific safety requirements.

  • Ensure proper PPE and safe work practices are maintained by the crew.

  • Identify and correct unsafe working conditions.

  • Maintain compliance with OSHA and site-specific safety requirements.

Project Coordination

  • Coordinate daily activities with the General Contractor, Site Superintendent, subcontractors, electricians, and other trades.

  • Serve as the primary field contact for the GC Site Superintendent regarding installation activities.

  • Coordinate work areas, access, material availability, and scheduling conflicts.

  • Identify field conflicts and communicate them to the Superintendent or Project Manager.

  • Maintain awareness of project schedule requirements and communicate potential delays immediately.

Materials & Equipment

  • Coordinate material staging and distribution for the assigned crew.

  • Identify material shortages or equipment requirements before they affect production.

  • Maintain organization of tools, equipment, and materials.

  • Verify materials and equipment are installed in accordance with project requirements.

Documentation

  • Complete accurate daily jobsite reports.

  • Track manpower, work completed, material requirements, and field issues.

  • Document installation progress and deficiencies.

  • Maintain accurate timesheets and crew records.
