Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a school psychologist for the upcoming second semester! This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) spans from January 4, 2027, through May 28, 2027, allowing you to make a meaningful impact during a critical portion of the academic year. You’ll support students and staff at sites spread throughout the district, with specific locations and grade levels confirmed closer to the assignment start date.
Your expertise will shine as you conduct student testing, write comprehensive reports, and actively participate in IEP meetings. Additionally, you’ll take on counseling and behavioral intervention duties, directly influencing students' emotional wellness and learning experience. Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist credential appropriate for service in California
- Previous experience as a school psychologist in a K-12 educational setting
- Strong skills in psychoeducational assessment, report preparation, and IEP development
- Knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies and counseling techniques
- Adaptability to support various grade levels and school sites as needed
- Effective communicator with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
