We are looking for a dependable Test Center Administrator to support daily exam operations in Worthington, Ohio. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who combines strong customer service skills with careful attention to security, accuracy, and detail. The person in this role will help create a controlled and welcoming testing environment while ensuring each candidate is treated fairly and according to established procedures.
Responsibilities:
• Welcome test takers upon arrival, confirm their identity, and guide them through the check-in process in a detail-oriented manner.
• Carry out exam security procedures, including approved screening methods and the use of handheld devices when required.
• Observe candidates throughout testing sessions to protect exam integrity and address concerns promptly.
• Maintain control of testing rooms, materials, and equipment to preserve a secure and organized environment at all times.
• Document incidents, irregularities, and candidate concerns clearly and escalate matters in accordance with site guidelines.
• Support a positive testing experience by providing clear instructions and helping candidates feel informed and comfortable within policy limits.
• Protect the facility from inappropriate conduct by enforcing rules consistently and responding quickly to policy violations.
• Complete candidate biometric or digital record steps, such as fingerprint capture, when those procedures apply at the site.
• Assist with routine administrative tasks, including document scanning, basic clerical support, inbound call handling, and packing or unpacking equipment as needed.
• Adjust availability to meet operational scheduling needs based on the testing center’s calendar and business hours.• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of face-to-face customer service experience is required, such as work in retail, hospitality, food service, or a similar setting.
• College coursework or additional post-secondary education is preferred.
• Must meet the minimum age requirement for the position.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with candidates and team members.
• Ability to prepare accurate reports and maintain detailed documentation.
• Comfortable using Windows-based computer systems and common office applications, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and web browsers.
• Able to manage multiple tasks at once and handle light physical duties such as working with small tools and preparing equipment for shipment or setup.
