Your relevant experience and skills will be vital in:
- Delivering direct instruction tailored to each student’s IEP
- Managing caseloads and ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and district guidelines for IEPs
- Creating, implementing, and maintaining the full continuum of services and supports
- Communicating continuously with parents, guardians, and school staff regarding student progress and needs
- Assisting in the RtI (Response to Intervention) process as a key contributor
- Providing effective behavior management support and executing behavior intervention plans
- Documenting progress and maintaining accurate student records
- Implementing accommodations and modifications in collaboration with general and specialized staff
- Ensuring a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for all students
- Tackling additional duties as needed to support the evolving needs of your students
To qualify, you will need:
- Current Arizona Special Education Teacher Certification
- Valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card—or ability to obtain and maintain one
