Schedule: Wednesday-Sunday | 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Training Schedule: Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Pay: $83,662 - $102,202 annually + 10% Swing Shift Differential
About the OpportunityWe are seeking a hands-on Production Lead to oversee swing shift operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role combines leadership and production responsibilities, requiring someone who enjoys working directly alongside employees while driving team performance, safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities- Lead daily production activities and support employees on the manufacturing floor.
- Allocate labor and resources to meet production demands.
- Train, coach, and develop production team members.
- Monitor throughput, productivity, quality, and work-in-process metrics.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and standard operating practices.
- Investigate and resolve production issues, bottlenecks, and quality concerns.
- Partner with Engineering, Quality, Facilities, and HR to support operational goals.
- Oversee timecard approvals, attendance tracking, and shift documentation.
- Conduct shift handoffs and communicate priorities between teams.
- 2+ years of manufacturing, production, or operations experience.
- Prior leadership, training, or supervisory experience in a production environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and workplace safety.
- Ability to lead by example in a hands-on environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience using production systems, dashboards, and timekeeping software.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Lean Manufacturing experience.
- Startup or high-growth manufacturing experience.
- Experience with 3D printing or advanced manufacturing technologies.
- Familiarity with Slack, Notion, Asana, or similar business tools.
- Spanish bilingual skills.

This is a Permanent position based out of San Leandro, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
