Procurement Analyst
Job Description
The Procurement Analyst is responsible for managing the procurement of goods, services, and operations equipment, ensuring efficient and effective purchasing processes.
Responsibilities- Utilize the ERP system to determine purchasing needs and maintain data quality for purchasing requirements.
- Prepare all necessary documentation for each purchase order.
- Communicate daily with suppliers and vendors regarding delivered purchase orders.
- Coordinate invoice issues with vendors and accounting, and manage any delivery requirements with vendors.
- Collaborate with engineering and project managers to ensure item qualifications.
- Establish and maintain contracts with vendors, including meetings with sales and vendor representatives as needed.
- Support inventory and supply chain needs through data analytics.
- Identify bad inventory and assist in strategies for disposal, resale, or return to vendors.
- Develop, maintain, and implement detailed inventory management best practices.
- Perform additional duties as required by the Supply Chain Manager.
- ERP proficiency
- 5+ years of supply chain experience, which may include planning, purchasing, or a mix of both
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented and customer-focused personality
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required
- Experience with Syteline ERP is a plus, but not required
The role is based in a cubicle environment, with a requirement to store safety shoes at the desk for use when visiting the plant floor. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from either 7:00am to 4:00pm with a one-hour lunch break, or 7:30am to 4:00pm with a 30-minute lunch break. The dress code is casual and work-appropriate, with safety shoes required when necessary. Benefits include bonus incentives based on company performance, 5 days of PTO, and 6 paid holidays while on contract.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reading, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $31.25 - $33.65/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
