Qualifications & Skills:
- Active Texas SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous experience in school-based SLP roles strongly preferred
- Ability to manage caseloads involving both monolingual and bilingual students
- Strong skills in evaluation, diagnostics, and IEP case management
- Excellent communication and collaboration with educational teams and families
- Adaptable to working across mostly elementary and some middle school environments
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication evaluations
- Manage and document cases according to state and district standards
- Develop and support individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide expert recommendations and collaborate in student progress meetings
- Deliver occasional speech therapy as needed to supplement evaluations
- Maintain timely, organized documentation and compliance with all school guidelines
