Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students for the upcoming school year. This full-time position offers the chance to serve across a diverse district, making a meaningful impact from August 2026 through June 2027. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work 35-37.5 hours each week, collaborating with educators, families, and support staff. The caseload will span kindergarten through 12th grade, allowing you to broaden your experience and develop your expertise in a dynamic school environment.
Ideal candidates have:
- A current and valid SLP-CCC certification
- Previous experience providing speech and language therapy in school settings (K-12)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a district-wide caseload effectively
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving caseloads or assignment needs during the school year
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing, diagnosing, and delivering evidence-based speech-language therapy services to K-12 students
- Developing individualized intervention and treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Participating in IEP meetings, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating closely with educational teams
- Offering consultation to staff and families to support student communication needs in and outside the classroom
- Adhering to professional, ethical, and district standards at all times
