Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and active New York Teaching License with ART certification or endorsement
• Strong background in visual arts, art education, or related discipline
• Experience in classroom management and student engagement
• Ability to develop and adapt curriculum for diverse learners
• Flexibility to teach various age groups (final assignment will be confirmed)
• Dedication to promoting creativity and critical thinking through art

Responsibilities:

• Deliver in-person art instruction to assigned student groups, following established curriculum guidelines
• Create a safe and inclusive environment to encourage artistic expression
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records
• Organize art projects, displays, and student exhibitions
• Collaborate with other faculty and staff to enrich the school’s arts programming
• Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians
