Schedule: Approximately 50 hours per week | 10-hour days
Pay Schedule: Paid Weekly $2000 weekly
Routes: Local and Regional

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused CDL-A Truck Driver to transport job site equipment to and from project locations on local and regional routes.

This position operates a tractor-trailer and requires a driver who is comfortable assisting with loading and unloading equipment, properly securing cargo, performing vehicle inspections, and communicating with Superintendents and Foremen to ensure timely deliveries.

The ideal candidate has a clean driving record, strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA safety requirements, and experience transporting equipment or similar loads.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a tractor-trailer on local and regional routes.
  • Transport job site equipment between company facilities and project locations.
  • Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
  • Identify and report mechanical, equipment, or safety concerns immediately
  • Assist with loading and unloading job site equipment.
  • Properly secure cargo using straps, chains, blocking, and other appropriate securement methods.
  • Inspect loads to ensure equipment remains properly secured during transportation.
  • Plan efficient routes based on traffic, weather conditions, job site requirements, and delivery schedules.
  • Maintain accurate driving-hour, mileage, fuel, and delivery records.
  • Communicate with Superintendents and Foremen regarding delivery schedules, arrival times, delays, and job site needs.
  • Follow FMCSA regulations, DOT requirements, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
  • Immediately report vehicle defects, accidents, safety concerns, or violations.
  • Maintain a clean and well-kept tractor-trailer.
  • Represent the company professionally when interacting with employees, customers, and job site personnel.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
  • Clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of tractor-trailer inspection and basic vehicle maintenance procedures.
  • Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and safe driving practices.
  • Ability to safely secure equipment using chains, straps, and other cargo-securement methods.
  • Ability to assist with loading and unloading job site equipment.
  • Ability to safely perform the physical requirements associated with equipment transportation.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly regarding safety and compliance.
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Superintendents, Foremen, and other team members.
  • Bilingual communication skills are preferred.

Schedule:

This is a full-time, salaried position averaging approximately 50 hours per week and 10 hours per day. Drivers are paid weekly.$2000 a week
