Sheet Metal Punch Press Operator

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Punch Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background operating sheet metal punching equipment, with a preference for experience on Trumpf TruPunch machines. This individual will be responsible for machine operation, maintenance, tooling management, and supporting various sheet metal fabrication processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain Trumpf TruPunch punch press equipment.
  • Set up, monitor, and troubleshoot punch press operations to ensure quality production.
  • Maintain and organize all punch press tooling.
  • Assist with additional sheet metal fabrication processes, including:
    • Laser cutting
    • Press brake forming
    • Shear cutting
    • Pulling and preparing stock orders
  • Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications.
  • Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.


Qualifications

  • Previous experience operating Trumpf TruPunch machines.
  • Strong sheet metal handling experience.
  • Forklift operation experience.
  • Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
