Janitor - $18/H

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Janitor to join a team responsible for maintaining multiple educational facilities in the Granite City area. This is a long-term opportunity with the potential for permanent hire.

Job Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain classrooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, and common areas
• Operate walk-behind floor scrubbers and floor buffers
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and remove trash
• Maintain clean and safe environments for students, staff, and visitors
• Restock cleaning supplies and restroom products
• Follow all safety procedures and cleaning standards
• Work as part of a janitorial team across multiple facility locations

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of janitorial experience preferred
• Experience operating walk-behind floor scrubbers and buffers is required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical cleaning duties throughout the shift
