Job Summary

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Production Buffet Cook to join our busy kitchen team. This position is responsible for high-volume food preparation, large-batch cooking, and keeping the buffet line fully stocked and running smoothly throughout service.

The ideal candidate is energetic, willing to learn, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food in large batches for buffet service.
• Keep the buffet line stocked, fresh, and ready for service.
• Complete daily food preparation and kitchen prep work.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen.
• Work efficiently during busy service periods.
• Follow recipes, food-safety procedures, and kitchen standards.
• Communicate with other kitchen team members to keep food production moving.
• Help wherever needed to keep the kitchen running smoothly.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in fast food, short-order cooking, buffet cooking, or high-volume food preparation is preferred.
• Experience is not required we are willing to train the right person.
• Eagerness to learn and willingness to help wherever needed.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a very busy kitchen.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

This is an active, fast-paced kitchen position. Applicants must be able to:

• Stand in one place for extended periods.
• Bend, kneel, stoop, and reach as needed.
• Repeatedly lift and carry items weighing up to 30 lbs.
• Work on their feet for the majority of the shift.
• Perform repetitive food-preparation and kitchen tasks.
