APPRAISER POSITION AVAILABLE

The Ellis Appraisal District is hiring! We are a fast paced and growing customer service-oriented district with career path opportunities and great benefits. We inspect real estate using imagery, do field inspections to gather property characteristics and employ analytical skills for valuation of all forms of real estate and taxable personal property. Minimum qualifications:

- Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent is required

- Self-motivated and positive team-oriented attitude

- Superb communication skills including verbal, written and conflict management

- Responsive to shifting priorities and changing requests

- Strong math and analytical skills

- Microsoft Office skills including intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook

- Ability to function independent in the field gathering data using an iPad

- Must have reliable transportation
