Outreach & Recruitment Representative

Job description:

Southwest University is seeking a professional, outgoing, and highly motivated individual to join our Outreach & Recruitment team. This position serves as a representative of Southwest University at recruitment events, schools, community events, college fairs, and professional conferences.

This is a travel-intensive position requiring approximately 50% or more travel. Travel will include local and regional events as well as out-of-town conferences and recruitment opportunities. Candidates must be comfortable traveling frequently and representing Southwest University in professional settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent Southwest University at conferences, college fairs, school visits, community events, and recruitment activities.
• Build professional relationships with prospective students, schools, organizations, and community partners.
• Present information about Southwest University programs, admissions, scholarships, and enrollment opportunities.
• Develop new outreach opportunities and community partnerships.
• Conduct presentations and engage with prospective students and groups.
• Coordinate and participate in outreach events, campus tours, and open houses.
• Maintain organized records of recruitment activities and prospective student contacts.
• Assist with transporting, setting up, and breaking down recruitment materials and equipment.

Qualifications

• Strong professional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident presenting and networking in professional environments.
• Highly organized, dependable, and able to work independently.
• Must be willing and able to travel 50% or more of the time, including out-of-town travel.
• Must have a flexible schedule with availability for evenings and weekends.
• Ability to lift and transport approximately 25–30 pounds of recruitment materials.
• Sales experience required
