Position Summary: As a DME Supplies Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the seamless delivery of durable medical equipment supplies to our patients. You will be responsible for coordinating orders, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery to meet the unique needs of each individual.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Coordination:
- Receive and process orders for durable medical equipment and CPAP supplies.
- Verify prescription information and insurance details.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and complete orders.
- Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, addressing inquiries and concerns.
- Assist patients with product education and usage guidelines.
- Resolve any issues related to order discrepancies or product defects.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of orders and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and insurance guidelines.
- Assist in the preparation of reports for internal and external audits.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare or related field is a requirement.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with insurance verification and billing processes.
- Knowledge of Brightree is a plus.
