Shipping & Receiving Associate

Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Starting Pay: $21.00 per hour (Rate may increase upon becoming a Pyramid employee)

Shipping & Receiving Position Responsibilities

• Conduct shipping activities in the MAS 100 ERP system, including:
• • Picking product
  • Labeling
  • Certificate of Conformance (COC)
  • Bill of Lading (BOL)
  • Stretch wrapping
  • Forklift and reach truck operation
  • Scheduling shipments using routing guidelines
• Lift and move boxes weighing 1 to 60 pounds to accommodate shipping and receiving activities.
• Review Open Order and Purchase Order reports daily to ensure customer orders are shipped accurately and on time.
• Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements identified in MAS 100 ERP customer memo notes, including product identification, packaging, carriers, routing, and billing requirements.
• Receive products into MAS 100 ERP and create vendor payment vouchers.
• Maintain inventory management within the ERP system and warehouse bin locations, and assist with annual physical inventory.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Be familiar with and follow the company's Safety Policy and Objectives.
• Be familiar with and support the company's Quality Policy and Objectives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant shipping and receiving experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong planning and organizational abilities, with flexibility and sound decision-making skills.

Requirements

• ERP system experience.
• Experience working in a distribution environment.
• Forklift and reach truck experience.
• Strong math skills.
• Must reside within 30 to 45 minutes of Northbrook.
