Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
A detail-oriented and organized Office Clerk I to support warehouse operations through administrative and customer service functions. This role is based in an office located within a warehouse environment; however, no warehouse labor, equipment operation, or material handling is required.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a sense of urgency, excellent follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Market Managers by requesting and tracking documentation for shipping containers leaving the warehouse.
- Create and maintain orders within the company system (training provided).
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized records.
- Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders via phone and email.
- Draft, send, and respond to professional correspondence using Outlook and other business systems.
- Conduct internet research and gather information as needed.
- Verify, update, and maintain documentation and database records.
- Follow up on outstanding requests and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Manage multiple assignments while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Provide general administrative support to office and operations teams.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 0-3 years of administrative, clerical, office support, or customer service experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including:
- Outlook (required)
- Word (required)
- Excel (basic knowledge required)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Comfortable working with computer-based systems and learning new software.
- Basic arithmetic and data entry skills.
- Experience working in an office environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience with AS400.
- Experience with Google Docs, Salesforce, or Oracle systems.
- Previous administrative support, logistics, transportation, supply chain, or warehouse-office experience.
Additional Information
- Interviews will be conducted via Microsoft Teams.
- This role is located in an office within a warehouse environment but does not involve physical warehouse duties.
- Candidates should demonstrate reliability, professionalism, strong follow-up skills, and a sense of urgency.
Dress Code
- Monday-Thursday: Business casual attire (polo shirts or blouses; no ripped jeans).
- Friday: Plain T-shirts permitted (no logos, tears, or inappropriate graphics).
- No flip-flops or open-toe shoes.
Preferred Candidate Profile: A professional administrative support candidate who is bilingual in Spanish and English, highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of effectively managing documentation, communication, and order-entry activities in a fast-paced operational environment.
