Job Description
Customer Operations / Sales Support Specialist - North Austin
We are looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused Customer Operations / Sales Support Specialist to support customers throughout the order process, from quoting and purchase orders through fulfillment, repairs, and subscriptions. This role works closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, and Engineering teams to ensure accurate and timely customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Customer & Order Support
Assist customers by email, ticketing system, and phone with orders and general inquiries.
Prepare quotes and proforma invoices using Salesforce and GP.
Process purchase orders and revise sales orders based on customer requests.
Work with Supply Chain to confirm inventory and lead times.
Maintain accurate billing and payment information.
Coordinate with Operations to help ensure timely delivery of orders.
Direct incoming sales calls to the appropriate team members.
RMA & Repair Support
Work with the production team to prepare quotes quickly and accurately.
Provide customers with updates on repair status.
Partner with Engineering to create new products and modify existing products in GP and Salesforce.
Product & Subscription Support
Learn the company's products, systems, part numbers, and processes.
Assist customers with basic subscription questions and requests.
Maintain accurate customer payment information in GP.
Team & Professional Development
Participate in cross-functional meetings and training opportunities.
Continuously develop product, business, and customer service knowledge.
Work collaboratively with other departments and contribute to process improvements.
Maintain a positive, professional attitude and look for ways to improve the customer experience.
